NYCC 2020 Panel and Screening Submissions
All fields are required.
Two things we love: our awesome fans and unique content! We're looking for original and creative programming, so if you think you've got what it takes, apply now to host a panel or screening at the show. Make sure it's kick ass though, as panel and screening slots are in high demand and last year we were able to accept less than 20% of all submissions. When you're putting together your panelists, keep in mind that we value fresh voices and diverse perspectives: if everyone on your panel looks and sounds just like you, you may want to rethink your approach.
This form closes on Monday, July 27 at 11:59 PM, so set a couple of reminders in your phone and make sure you get your submissions in early.
You'll hear back from the team by Friday, August 7 with a decision on your submission - we know, the anticipation is killing us too.
We're here for you, so if you have any questions while you wait, feel free to shoot us an email at NYCCpanels@reedexpo.com. Mischief managed!
Before pitching any names for the panel, make sure all of your panelists are 100% interested in taking part. You wouldn't put down Gal Gadot's name without first consulting Wonder Woman herself. Right? Right. You can always adjust the names of your panelists later on, so for now only list the folks you know are down. A maximum of six speaker badges will be provided per panel.
We aren't able to provide badges for plus 1's and we don't pay for speaking fees, travel, lodging or meals.
Anything else you want to share about your panel?
Additional information about your program, technical requirements, giveaways etc.
Are you exhibiting at NYCC?
Does your program contain any content unsuitable for those under 18 years old?
If selected, are you interested in presenting your panel as part of the professional programming at The New York Public Library on Thursday, October 8?
Panel rooms are equipped with wired microphones, projectors and screens. The rooms have hookups for laptops (but no laptop). You will be responsible for bringing your own if you need one for your presentation.

I understand that this application does not guarantee me a panel slot at NYCC and instead only registers my request to hold a panel. If accepted, panel times are chosen based on availability. NYCC reserves the right to adjust the time/location of my panel
Panels are scheduled in one hour blocks. Additional panel time will be provided at Reedpop's discretion and is not guaranteed. Panels may be livestreamed.
Reedpop's mission is to create welcoming events where fans of all kinds are safe and accepted. Reedpop event speakers are subject to our harassment policy, not only as fans, but also during event presentations.
Per the policy, this includes the prohibition of offensive verbal comments in relation to, but not limited to, race, gender, gender identity, national origin, sexual orientation, age, and appearance. Please mark yes if you have read this statement.
Complimentary badges are given to speakers who don't already have another type of badge (Exhibitor, Artist Alley, Pro, etc.,) up to six per panel, including the moderator.
This one's serious, if you're caught scalping or selling your Speaker Badges, you will be banned from presenting another panel at NYCC. Seriously, just don't do it. Do you understand?
