APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS
All questions on this application are required. If you do not
have an answer, please write "none" or "N/A".
Please allow up to 14 business days for a response.
GENERAL INFORMATION
If you intend to run a panel DO NOT PURCHASE A PASS. Passes
are non-refundable. You will not be reimbursed for any passes already purchased.
UmiCon will provide a single day pass for each panel (minimum
45 minutes long). This breaks down to:
· Running one (1) panel will grant you one (1) single
day wristband.
· Running two (2) panels will grant you either:
o
Two (2) single day wristbands *OR*
o
One (1) promo code for a weekend pass upgrade
(you must request this option in advance).
· Three (3) panels will grant you one (1) weekend
pass.
All single day panelists wristbands can be upgraded to a
weekend pass for the difference in cost.
You cannot sell any food or drink as part of any panel.
UmiCon will not compensate any panelist for transportation,
hotel stay, or any other cost related to running a panel for the convention.
All panelists are required to follow the instructions of convention and Ocean Center staff at all times as well as all rules and guidelines laid out by the event and Ocean Center.
TECHNICAL INFORMATION
UmiCon Daytona has only one technical setup which includes:
o Two (2) wired microphones and one (1) 3.5 mm audio jack
(standard headphone jack) connected to in house audio.
o One (1) video projector which has one (1) HDMI port (does
not include cable) and one (1) VGA port (does not include cable).
All other rooms on the convention floor have no tech in
them. If you have audio and/or video, please bring your own device to play it
from and the correct cables and adapters to connect to the equipment provided.
Per Ocean Center policy no outside food or drink will be
allowed inside the Ocean Center. As a courtesy, all Umicon attendees (including
panelists) will be permitted to enter with one (1) personal beverage for your
own consumption. Concessions will be sold during event hours.
