Making an elaborate costume or prop that demands replicable detailing? Need to make 3 of 'em? Five? Jinkies, TEN, and in a jiffy? Don't sweat it! In this make & take, learns some devilishly easy replication techniques using silicone putty and cold-casting faux metal effects. Participants are encouraged to bring small items they may like to mold like coins, gears, 3d magnets and other flat backed small sculptural items. Basic sculpting supllies are provided for folks that prefer to model their own item instead. REQUIRED: Patricipants must supply their own disposable nitrile or vinyl gloves (NO LATEX). WARNING: Casting materials create vapors. Please be advised that your safety is your responsibility. It is highly recommeded that you bring a disposable valved respiratior mask (available at your local hardware store) or some other vapor-related mask or respirator. Don't damn your lungs.
