The success of John Carpenter’s Halloween in 1979 kicked off a decade-long series of copycat slasher films ranging from the kind-of-scary to the outright ridiculous, with a lot of bizarre and amusing standouts along the way. From Friday the 13th to lesser known films like The Burning, we’ll hit all the highlights with movie clips and commentary and then cap it off with a hilarious countdown of the 10 all-time best kills.
