LIGO Detection (20mins) On September 14, 2015 the twin Laser Interferometer Gravitational-wave Observatory (LIGO) detectors, located in Livingston, Louisiana, and Hanford, Washington measured ripples in the fabric of spacetime – gravitational waves – generated by the merger of two massive black holes over one billion light years from Earth. Wisdom Teeth (11mins) Wisdom Teeth is a film about Danish scientist Nicolas Steno(1638-1686) and his investigation concerning the Glossopetrae, a fossilized shark whose teeth are commonly found on the italian landscapes. Fight Like a Girl (13mins) In this short documentary, Victoria “VikkiKitty” Perez, Priscilla “Port” Sortino, and Taylor “Xaltis” Rose, three South Florida women, push through the male dominated competitive video gaming scene.
