Over30cosplay is a global advocacy group with a mission to promote and encourage cosplayers over 30 years old to feel comfortable expressing themselves through costuming and cosplay in convention, media, and event settings. We offer an informative and supportive safe space to discuss and collaborate on issues specifically related to cosplayers between 30 and 90. Panel contributions will include celebrating the history of comic culture, couples cosplay ideas, and combating negative, age related, stereotypes. Plus tips on; costume choice, dating and family, social media/marketing age awareness, and how to combat bullying in our community. Our panel addresses real issues to prepare, celebrate and assist Over30cosplayers and costumers to feel confident, engaged, and motivated! This panel and our ever growing team encourages cosplayers to enter the costuming community ready to contribute to the popular art form and culture we call cosplay! Our community connects over 95,000 Over30cosplayers internationally and continuously strives to grow, reaching out to new members through such excellent opportunities as SDCC, panels, group meetups, other conventions, and online media.
