This session inspires educators to use more science in the classroom. Studies have shown that if girls, minorities, and students of low-socioeconomic class do not have a love for science by fourth grade, they will not join the field. Nor will they be prepared for liberal arts colleges, which require proficiency in math and science courses to graduate. We hope to inspire the next generation of scientists, which includes all students of all backgrounds.
