North 231C

Saturday May 26, 2018 - 3:00 pm to 4:00 pm

Comics about, or by, people with disabilities--"Superheros" in their own right--depict the funny and ironic things that occur during the course of any day. Graphic artist and writer Marieke Davis will introduce you to this emerging trend and to her award-winning comic, "Life is Blurry", a mostly autobiographical strip featuring her experiences as a "visually impaired visual artist".
