According to the Oxford Dictionary, fan fiction is “fiction written by a fan of, and featuring characters from, a particular TV series, film, etc.” Does that mean that if screenwriters, directors, and/or producers are fans of comics, the result of their efforts is fan fiction produced by professionals?
