Anime Idol: J-Rock/J-Pop Contest METROCON is once again hosting its annual "Anime Idol" J-Pop and J-Rock Competition for performers who want to show off their best song/dance routines. We've pre-selected the top 10 performers to compete at this years convention. The "Anime Idol" J-Pop and J-Rock Competition is for all anime fans that want to show off their best "American Idol'-meets-"Star Search" song and dance routine for all their fellow con-goers. Live, in-concert showmanship is the focus of the event as solo and group contestants attempt to recreate favorite performances by Japanese pop and rock stars - from musical ability to presentation. CATEGORIES: PLEASE NOTE: There is no sign up for this contest at the convention. Best in Show, Best Presentation, Best Technical, Judges Award.
