Meet LGBTQ+ individuals within STEM related fields and explore the unique challenges faced by these individuals. Participants will unpack some of the underlying issues: the pre-existing dominance of toxic masculinity, encountering intolerant ideologies, lack of support for the LGBTQ+ community in STEM universities, and the assumed divide between social issues and STEM fields.
