Women in Film & Television - Houston presents Higher Ground screening followed by a cast Q&A. Winner of 2015 CineSpace (Houston Cinema Arts Festival's international film competition for filmmakers utilizing actual NASA imagery). Higher Ground is a quaint little story of a seemingly normal family, who after watching space shuttle launch footage on television, are inspired to build their own rocket ship, out of scraps and bits from their house and garage, in their own backyard. Q&A after the screening with Mary Magsamen and Stephan Hillerbrand and their children, who actually did deconstruct their home to create a two and a half story chrome spaceship in the backyard.
