For the past two years I have incorporated the ideals and morals of superheroes into my classroom. I end the year with a massive education, discussion, and writing based RPG of the Marvel Civil War. The students decide what their character will do in this universe as the schism between the opposing sides grows ever wider. It gives my students the opportunity to question decisions and laws in a fictional plane, weigh the pros and cons of decisions (physical and moral), and relate events back to actual moments in history. I want to share my experiences with this year's gameplay and what I learned as well as get feedback as to how I might enhance the experience next year.
