Artists from all levels discuss the business side of being an artist in the comic industry. They’ll discuss things like Page Rates, Royalty deals, being professional and meeting deadlines, the differences in the convention circuit when you’re just starting out, when you have tons of titles under your belt but still aren’t a recognizable name, and when you’re a huge comic celebrity artist, how conventions can affect you before and after the show and the costs of being an artist such as taxes and supplies. Panelists will include Jose Fernandez artist on The Threat by Stratum Comics, Meghan Hetrick artist on such titles as Joker’s Daughter and Red Thorn, Andy Belanger artist on Southern Cross and Kill Shakespeare, and Peter Gross artist on The Books of Magic, The Unwritten, and Lucifer.
