Saturday September 29, 2018 - 2:00 pm to 2:45 pm

While Twitch is primarily used for streaming gameplay, there is a whole community that stream their game production on a weekly or daily basis. Some some to socialize, others to gather help from their viewers, and many are looking to generate a community that will support their game post-release. If any of these reasons for streaming might be of interest to you, this panel will prepare you for your first steps into the practice. In this panel I will present an overview of the Twitch game development community, how to get started doing game development streams, and general strategies that help develop a community of viewers. After attending, one should know the tools and software used to stream, how best to set up a game development stream, and where to get and retain one's first viewers.
