It took a full year since Blackstar (Bowie’s final album) was released for an unsuspecting fan to leave the LP cover out in the sun. To our amazement they discovered a heat responsive ink had been used and a new galaxy was revealed on the cover! But this really shouldn’t have been a surprise, as the chameleon of hazy cosmic jazz had been scattering hidden meanings and treats all over his career. It has been announced that only around 60% of these treats have been discovered. So let’s go on a rock star adventure with The Goblin King himself as our guide. I’ve got a map of art, music, film and album covers, let’s see where it takes us. Maybe even find something new.
