Friday September 7, 2018 - 2:15 pm to 3:15 pm

Summary: We make decisions daily. Each decision we make is based on a number of factors; previous experiences, available resources, and desired outcome, are just a few of them. Even on the fly we work strategically to achieve our goals, big or small. But are we deliberately strategic, or is it something we tend to do unintentionally? And how much better would our decisions be if we were intentionally strategic? It may sound hard, but it’s not. This session will show you how to strategically approach making decisions around what projects to choose, what resources to use and how to utilize strategic thinking when gaining buy-in from decision-makers and other stakeholders. What Your Will Learn: What are the key components to being a strategic thinker? What are the steps to thinking strategically? How does one strategically approach conversations with decision makers and other stakeholders to gain buy-in? PMI PDU Category: Strategic & Business Management – 1 PDU Activity Code: IPC2018-S39
