Rainn Wilson Spotlight Panel

Grand Ballroom

Friday September 7, 2018 - 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm

Most people know Rainn as the self-described "fascist nerd" "Dwight Schrute" in the US version of the TV series "The Office," but what some may not know is that he is also a film actor, an author, and a philanthropist. Rainn published an autobiography, "The Bassoon King," and also co-wrote the New York Times Bestseller "SoulPancake: Chew on Life's Big Questions." In addition, he raises money for the Mona Foundation, a charity operating in developing countries, and is a co-founder of Lidè Haiti, an educational initiative that uses the arts and literacy to empower adolescent girls in rural Haiti. There's so much more to Rainn than laughs. So, come for the comedy, stay for the enlightenment!
