Art & Nasa: Visualizing the Unimaginable

Panel Room A (Room 113A)

Saturday September 15, 2018 - 1:45 pm to 2:45 pm

Instruments and cameras capture profound data and images from the cosmos, but it is the job of creatives to capture the wonder. Engage with award winning artists, writers, and directors in the fantastic business of conceptualizing the future and promoting human spaceflight. Emmy Award winning artist, Mark Kistler, fiction author and writer for video games, Genese Davis, NASA Exhibit Manager, Jack Moore, and comics creator and director, Dan Fraga, will reveal the important role of art, sci-fi, photography, and film; and the strength of imagination and visualization in and around creativity and our nation’s space agency. P.S. We’re not all rocket scientists!
