Panel Room A (Room 113A)

Sunday September 16, 2018 - 10:45 am to 11:45 am

Comics are a great way to engage students in all subjects and levels. Not only do they serve as a perfect hook, but help to teach 21st Century skills, create analytical readers/writers, and provide a window into the changing global society around us. Tim Smyth is a high school social studies teacher of 17 years and holds a MS degree as a Reading Specialist. During this session, you will be walked through established lesson plans that can be integrated into all subjects and levels tomorrow!
