Drag Kings/individuals crossplaying as male characters will be competing for the Mr. ComicPalooza 2016 title. Drag Queens/individuals crossplaying as female characters will be competing for the Mrs. ComicPalooza 2016 title. Winners will receive one weekend pass each for ComicPalooza 2017 and be asked to attend next year’s Crossplay Drag Contest to hand off their titles. Contestants will be judged on their performance. How well put together your costume appears, choreography and your lip syncing skills will factor in along with audience reaction. If you would like to participate in the audience simply sign up at the cosplay registration table during it’s hours of operation and bring your music with you to the event itself. Audience members can tip performers and cheer for who they want to win. Contestants will lip sync and dance their way to the top.
