IITAGH & HCC Presents Codefest 2.3 at Comicpalooza: Create your own website from scratch! Students will get hands on experience to develop a website on their laptops and publish live on the web. This is a "hands on" workshop using laptop computers (bring your own laptop!). Programming is a unifying language across cultures and geographic divides. Technology in general, and coding specifically are a critical part of today's globalized economy and an important aspect of any international business or marketing global studies program. Students will learn the basic concepts of declarative vs procedural languages with JavaScript and HTML used to explain the difference. Requirements: No Prior coding experience needed, bring your own laptop and charger, notepad/pen to write notes, a USB flash drive (optional) to store your work and an email ID ready to be used. Open to any Houston area high school and HCC college students. Special Registration required to be able to participate in the workshop. Please bring your own laptop. Internet Access and Power outlets to be provided at the avenue. ***** HCC Continuing Education College credit will be awarded to all the participants. *****
