This year Planet Comicon is embracing its cosplay and photography community. You certainly do not have to be in costume to come watch these groups assemble and pose for photographers. Any convention attendees with an appropriately themed costume will be welcome to participate as long as they follow the instructions being given by the gathering's director. Similarly all photographers are welcome to come and get some shots as well. The theme for this gathering is Dr. Who & Star Trek (all variations from The Original Series to Enterprise, and from all films). If you're a Companion, Dalek, Klingon, or Federation officer, come join in the fun. The groups will be shot individually (all of a single theme together) as well as some mash up combinations just for fun. The meet up spot will be the same for all groups but there is plenty of space in the area to spread out to take advantage of lighting and other considerations. All meetups assemble at the Hallway just outside of the Cantina at 2501D. Planet Comicon is happy to be working in conjunction with some of the premiere regional groups to help provide an exciting and safe environment for cosplayers to come together.
