Cutthroat Writing

Saturday July 9, 2016 - 4:15 pm to 6:15 pm

Have you ever wanted to be in a writing competition, but never felt confident enough in your skills to do so? Have you ever wanted to sabotage someone in a contest but been held back by fear of repercussions? Have you never wanted these things in your life, but now that they've been suggested, you do now? Well look no further! In this contest of writers, you will be encouraged to show off your writing skills, and even 'buy' various items to assign to your competitors to challenge their writing process. The judging will be based on creativity, adherence to the trope of that round, and humor. Dramatic readings of the various works will be held at the end of each round, and the audience will vote on which is best. For those who are not contestants, the time that the contestants spend writing will be an open session for other writers to get feedback and critique on their own works, or even open for audience members to have mini-contests with their friends. Prizes will be given to the winners!
