Joy Preble is the author of young adult novels, including Dreaming Anastasia (named an ABC Best Book in 2009) and its sequels; The Sweet Dead Life series; a contemporary drama, Finding Paris; and the forthcoming American fairy tale, It Wasn’t Always Like This. She teaches writing at Writespace Houston and received an NEH Summer Fellowship, studying Willa Cather and Edith Wharton. In no particular order, Joy adores travel, movies, the Whedonverse and clever cocktails. Limit of three books per turn in line, including one non-book item per person (i.e. posters, t-shirts, etc.).
