During this session, we will be discussing the prevalence of domestic violence & sexual assault within our communities. We will cover resources within the community, safe reporting practices, sexual assault exams & locations, bystander intervention practices plus much more. This will be a plenary session that has representatives from multi-disciplinary expertise: Jenn Oxborrow (Utah Domestic Violence Coalition, executive director), Andi Tremonte (LGBTQ+ coordinator/Tech Abuse coordinator), Carla Galvez (Rape Recovery Advocate), Karen Evans (SANE nurse), Jana Fulmer (Counselor with Amethyst Centre for Healing), Marty Licardo (Bystander intervention) & Representative Angela Romero.
