The Las Cruces Costume Contest will award cash prizes to the top costumes in each category and to the best overall. Once again local radio personality Jack Lutz will lend his golden throated oratory skills as emcee of this popular event. There are seven different categories for this years competition. The winner of each category will receive $50. The winners of each category are then eligible for Best of Show. The Best of Show winner receives a $500.00 Cash Prize, 2nd Place Overall receives a $300.00 Cash Prize, 3rd Place overall receives a $200.00 Cash Prize. Additional prizes, if any, will be announced at the event. The categories for this contest are listed below. Only 8 participants are allowed in each category.
