ED136 - Video Game Animals

ROOM 708/710 - Gaming/Tech

Sunday June 2, 2019 - 4:00 pm to 4:50 pm

Nature's Educators is a 501c3 wildlife education program. We are licensed by USDA, CPW, and USFWS to care for non-releasable birds of prey and other animal ambassadors for educational programming. We would like to bring our "Video Game Animals" (Pokemon) program to you this year! We bring 6 different live animals and discuss how they are like the characters in the popular games/show. Audience members will learn how the real live animals defend themselves, what they eat, where they live, and compare them to the characters! For example, we bring a Pigeon and teach folks how Pidgey resembles a pigeon and why he has the attacks that he does. Normally, we would bring a pigeon, rabbit, owl, snake, falcon, and toad. Animals may change as we have over 75 ambassadors!
