ED116 - The Natural Way that Gifted Students Connect to Social Justice

In our session we will discuss the ways in which gifted kids are innately socially justice motivated. We will discuss the various ways in which we incorporated pop culture, and graphic novels into our middle school classrooms to enhance the theme of social justice throughout the year. We will share out the benefits and increased engagement of creating a curriculum rooted in social justice utilizing graphic novels to increase engagement.
