This interactive one-hour session will highlight the overlap between the agile approach and community-building. With an approach that has been used successfully at several organizations, Dr. Plaskoff will introduce how to build emergent and persistent communities. Several of the ideas of the agile model (distributed leadership, collaborative design, emergence, etc.) can also be applied to human systems and these similarities will be pointed out. A few activities for the group will highlight the uniqueness of the community (from team or company) and steps to take to build community.
