What did "Halloween," "Bird Box," "The Nun," "The Haunting of Hill House," "Hereditary," "A Quiet Place," "Serpentine (Anita Blake, Vampire Hunter Book 26)" teach us in 2018? That women in horror are now a substantial element in front of the camera (as actors) and behind (as producers, directors, writers/authors and fans). Are reviews, sales or the political climate the driving force that makes women in horror more in demand? How can women be recognized and respected as much as men in this industry?
