This panel session explores why villains play almost supernatural roles in stories, beyond just barriers and opposition to heroes. Villains (antagonists) are the heroes of their own stories, and their world view is essential to charging up the soul of a story. Villains are champions for a cause or standard bearers for change. Great stories have great villains, so no cardboard cutout characters are allowed here.
