Werewolves and other shapeshifters are rooted deeply in the folklore of cultures worldwide, which makes them rich fodder for telling compelling stories, but how do we keep them fresh? How do we be true to the folklore, to good storytelling, and avoid ground that's too familiar to be interesting?
