The panel is a non-partisan look at how comic books have been influenced by politics. People say politics have no place in comics, but politics have always been there. Whether it was the creation of Superman and Batman during the Great Depression, Wonder Woman and Captain America during World War II, or the X-Men during the Civil Rights movement, politics have had a gigantic influence on this medium we all love.
