This presentation features training in the foundational weapon of the genuine martial arts of Renaissance Europe, from authentic German and Italian teachings of the 14th through 17th centuries. Focusing on fencing with the double-hand Knightly longsword, this material is not stunt fencing, theatrical display, stage combat, costumed role-play or sporting contest, but actual historical combatives: real self-defense skills from real history.
