Pop Culture conventions have become a worldwide phenomenon that has changed the face of not just popular culture but all aspects of life. Whether it be a small local show or one of the larger, media events, pop culture conventions are the centerpiece of modern entertainment. Led by DPCC and with the push to include graphic novels, film, gaming, and even cosplay into 21st Century classrooms these shows, and those who exhibit, have started to cater to educators through programming, author events, and classroom-friendly content. This panel will offer educators new to Denver Pop Culture Con tips and tricks from seasoned educators who can show them the ropes on how to get the most out of their fan fest weekend.
