Richard Troshak will share how to use comics in the classroom and the difficulties of selecting comics that are child friendly and how comics are able to help students who usually don't like to read.
He will also share lesson plans that he has used in a 5th grade classroom in which students completed a research project on a person in history and presented their findings in the format of a comic book.
