Steampunk - or speculative fiction (usually set in an anachronistic Victorian or quasi-Victorian alternate history setting) could be described by the slogan "What the past would look like if the future had happened sooner." Our "steampunk" authors will discuss the subgenre and how they navigate the requirements with their science fiction, fantasy - and even *romance* themes.
