SFX Makeup Artists will battle it out and see who's got the right horror stuff! Contest is sponsored by The Hollywood Horror Show, Snow Camp NC and Two-Time Emmy Award Winning SFX Artists Starr and Dean Jones! Starr and Dean have been in the industry for years and will be on stage to MC and judge our contest. During the contest, these pros will talk about creating SFX magic, answer some questions from the audience and provide commentary on the Battle! Pro SFX Artist Ricky Vitus will be on hand to show off his work and help judge! Prizes will be awarded to top 3 Teams. Winner of the event will receive Makeup kit valued at $1000, the chance to day check as a makeup artist on a real film set, and receive a 2 year scholarship ($5,000 value) to the NC Film and Television Conservatory coming to Alamance County in 2020!!
