Painting Flat Figures. This hands-on intermediate flat painting class will cover a potted history of flats and the tools, materials, cleanup, repair, priming, and painting. Specific coverage of light direction, highlighting, and shading to create a three dimensional effect will be the primary focus. Students should bring their own brushes; all other supplies, including an illustrated handout, will be provided.
