Bits, Bobs and Accouterments - Painting Your Adventurer's Gear (Cowles)

Classroom #5 Dallas Ballroom (First Floor)

Thursday August 29, 2019 - 5:00 pm to 6:45 pm

In a world full of belts, bags, pouches, bottles, weapons and treasures galore, how do you make every bit of gear look unique without causing your character to resemble an exploded rainbow? How do you paint a dozen leather items without everything blending together? In this Beginner/Intermediate-level class, we will be exploring the wonderful world of browns; how to quickly add polish to bottles and gems; and various ways to make materials distinct (such as creating simple textures, or adding wear marks and stains). Bring your nice pointy brushes and lots of questions! Magnification is strongly recommended for this class, so please come prepared.
