Kalligraphy Dance Group returns to ConnectiCon for the 6th year running with their biggest show yet: Avatar : The Hundred Year War. Set not long before the beginning of the acclaimed Nickelodeon cartoon, this fan-made tribute to Avatar: The Last Airbender combines the creative and kinetic dance of Kalligraphy with a poignant origin story for two of the show’s iconic characters: the Fire Lord Ozai and his brother Iroh. Formed in 2013, Kalligraphy has always held the goal of creating memorable stories. The name “Kalligraphy” hearkens to both movement and penmanship, and thus its stories are delivered through a unique marriage of dance and writing.
