The words “erotic” and “grotesque” take on new meanings in this hard-to-define movement and create something both unique in style and distinctly Japanese in execution. Join A-to-J Connections as we look at all aspects of ero guro such as its historic and cultural background, the Abe Sada Incident, some of the amazing (sometimes disturbing) art that the scene has created, and its influence in film, anime, manga, music, and literature.
