Love and sex are givens in today’s world. Sexuality is an important part of being human, and Sex and free agency are empowering. With evolving concepts of sexuality and gender identity, how do writers approach sexual relationships, including non-traditional relationships in fiction? Sexual identity and awareness aren't owned by the male species. Why does it feel like such a taboo for women to be free to love/enjoy/talk about/embrace sex in genre fiction? Is romance a feminist-friendly medium?
