Thanks to the enduring, electric soundtrack and the iconic imagery, and despite its reputation as a box-office disappointment at the time, Flash Gordon has persisted in pop culture. Our panel will discuss the history of the character, the development of the film, especially, its story, cast, art direction and soundtrack, and celebrate the majestic lunacy of this quirky and beloved sci-fi epic.
