Comicpalooza 2021
The Cosplay Saber Walk and Lightsaber Parade is open to all cosplayers and fans of all ages. Star Wars Enthusiasts of Houston Fan Group is bringing Cosplayers back together. (Social distancing may apply). The Forces are gathering again for the annual "Cosplay Saber Walk and Lightsaber Parade"! Which side of the Force will you choose today? Show off your best Star Wars costumes, fan shirts, lightsabers, and unique cosplay creations for one of the largest annual cosplay parades in the Galaxy! Cosplayers from all fandom universes are welcome to join in this fun event, including Marvel, DC, Harry Potter, Star Trek, Battlestar Galactica, Game of Thrones, Anime, and more. After a brief introduction and instructions, participants will depart on a designated parade route through the exhibit hall while briefly stopping to pose for photos along the way. This year’s Saber Walk will travel a shorter distance due to smaller venue space, but it will still allow us to share the full breadth of our love and passion for fandom support. Official Comicpalooza photographers and local cosplay photographers are welcome to take photos along the parade route, including the grand finale end-of-parade "face-off" with light side vs. dark side, and hero vs. villain. You can also show off your best costumes, fan shirts, lightsabers, and unique cosplay creations during our annual Cosplay Photo Shoot (see program for schedule for separate event). Participants must follow the current CP health and safety guidelines. Children must be accompanied by an adult or guardian to participate.
