Broaden your brain about brown! Appreciate the diversity and versatility of brown in your miniature painting. Browns are all around us in the world: soil, stone, wood, skin, leather, fur and hair, horns, fabric, metal (bronze, copper, gold, rusted iron), and more. We'll explore the subtle splendors of these warm-hued neutrals; experiment with hues, values, and saturations; and recognize how browns can look different depending on the other colors around them. This is a demonstration and hands-on class. Bring your own brushes; paints and figures will be provided.
