This lecture with visual aids will provide a foundation for building any plastic model kit. The class will review the contents of a commercial plastic model kit - parts, instruction sheets, and decals; how a kit is made and how it affects the parts; tools, materials, adhesives, parts clean-up, assembly, and basic painting. A hand out is provided. Unbuilt and built models will be on display for further discussion.
