In this session we will discuss a number of philosophical issues raised in the Marvel Cinematic Universe limited television series WandaVision. The entire MCU is rife with philosophical themes, but WandaVision raises metaphysical questions in unique and abundant ways. The viewer is left questioning the nature of reality and the multiverse. We'll discuss regret, life’s really devastating choices, death, existential dread, personal identity, and the ship of Theseus. We'll also discuss the extent to which free will exists in a town controlled by Wanda. Finally, no philosophical discussion of WandaVision would be complete without consideration of the varying aesthetic choices presented in each episode.
