This class will cover a wide variety of techniques and shortcuts to achieve OSL or Object Source Lighting - that magical or firelight glow on your minis in a fun - fast working class. We'll go from what you can expect and achieve from a variety of techniques; starting right from priming, to unusual shortcuts and some advanced techniques. We will cover some of the theory about light, reflection and its effects on various materials (ie. Metal vs cloth), and also how to properly paint a flame. Students should bring a pen and paper for notes- their own brushes; one #1 or smaller sable/equivalent brush with a good tip- plus whatever you normally work with. Example minis you have questions about are very welcome too. All other supplies will be provided. This is a hands-on class with some demonstration - Bones figure supplied.
